Minerva McGonagall is still headmaster and most teachers are still head of their respected classrooms. Not much has changed, aside from the new head of herbology, Neville Longbottom. Life at Hogwarts has moved on, though rivalries are still brewing. The house of Slytherin is as stuck up and self-involved as ever, and Gryffindor's are still as couragous and good-hearted as ever. Ravenclaw's are still brilliant and creative, churning out plenty of incredibly gifted witches and wizards, while Hufflepuff is still home to the sweetest, most patient, hardworking students around. Even though Lord Voldemort is no more and there seems to be no more evil in the Wizarding World, don't be fooled. There is always some kind of evil lurking at Hogwarts, as well as secrets that have yet to be discovered. However, most of the students don't seem to care. They continue on with life at Hogwarts, doing all they can to keep themselves entertained. Whether it's cheering on their house at the next Quidditch match, homework, casting spells, pulling pranks on each other or gossiping about the latest scandals.

Characters may be posted here, but later will be moved to a thread made specifically for the Character sheets.
This is NOT the OOC forum, this is strictly for sign ups and submitting possible characters. I will toss up a OOC thread when I get the chance. We would like it to only be used for discussing the roleplay and what not after we've started the roleplay. For right now, we can discuss pre-roleplay stuff here or by PM'ing me or Sarcasm.
Once I feel we have enough characters submitted and accepted, I may put up the IC.
Also, feel free to PM me whenever you'd like. I'm on the computer a lot during the day. I promise I will not ignore your messages. If I opened them, but haven't replied and went offline, I did not decide it was stupid or whatever and decide to ignore it. I probably was checking messages briefly and didn't have time to reply right that second. I will most likely reply as soon as I get back online. You may PM either me or Hollywood Hero with anything you need. We're co-GM's and working together.

Since so many people have asked or brought it up, here it is.
Doubling Up Is Allowed
Rules:
- Let's try to balance out the houses, yeah? I'd rather not have a roleplay full of Gryffindor's.
- Be respectful to the GM's (Myself and Sarcasm), as well as your fellow Roleplayers.
-Absolutely no godmodding. I'm not saying you can't make a experienced, talented student, but come on, be reasonable. Gifted first years are okay as well, (think about Hermione when she was a first year), but nothing past that.
- Posting length should be two paragraphs minimum. But as always, quality over quantity.
- Literacy is a huge must. I'm not saying you need to write as well as Shakespeare, but I don't want posts that look like you tossed a paragraph into a blender and then randomly dumped the words back onto the page, okay?
- No Mary-Sues or anything of the like. Be creative, please.
- Canon characters are most certainly allowed. But keep in mind that the children would be in their later Hogwarts years.
- Orginal Characters are always welcome and encouraged. <3
- Please include "Hogwarts, Hogwarts. Hoggy-warty Hogwarts." somewhere in your character application so I know you read this!
- Listen to the GM's, please. If you have something to say we will always listen to you!
- If you have inputs, ideas or suggestions, don't keep them to yourself! Let me or Sarcasm know! We're always open to what you have to say.
- Phoenix Feathers are allowed this go around!
- If you've had a character previously accepted in the first attempt at this Roleplay, consider them already accepted, just post them here first and the CS thread will go up later.
